Universal Pictures has unveiled the first trailer for Jurassic World: Rebirth, offering a thrilling glimpse into the upcoming action-adventure film slated for a July release.
The trailer introduces a team led by Scarlett Johansson, venturing to a remote island. This island, previously a research facility for the original Jurassic Park, houses dinosaurs deemed too dangerous for the main park. Their mission: to collect DNA from the three largest dinosaurs on Earth to create a life-saving drug. Naturally, things don't go as planned.

Five years after Jurassic World Dominion, the planet's ecosystem struggles to support the surviving dinosaurs, confined to isolated equatorial regions with suitable climates. These three colossal creatures hold the key to a revolutionary life-saving drug.
Academy Award nominee Johansson portrays Zora Bennett, a skilled covert operative leading a top-secret mission. When Zora's mission intersects with a family whose boat is capsized by aquatic dinosaurs, they find themselves stranded on the island, uncovering a decades-old, sinister secret.
Ali plays Duncan Kincaid, Zora's trusted leader; Emmy nominee and Olivier Award winner Jonathan Bailey (Bridgerton) is paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis; Emmy nominee Rupert Friend (Homeland) portrays Big Pharma representative Martin Krebs; and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (The Lincoln Lawyer) plays Reuben Delgado, the father of the shipwrecked family.
The cast also includes Luna Blaise (Manifest), David Iacono (The Summer I Turned Pretty), and Audrina Miranda (Lopez vs. Lopez) as Reuben's family. Philippine Velge (Station Eleven), Bechir Sylvain (BMF), and Ed Skrein (Deadpool) round out the cast as members of Zora and Krebs' teams.

Last month, the screenwriter confirmed the inclusion of a sequence from the original Jurassic Park novel, omitted from the 1993 film. This sequence, as confirmed by Vanity Fair, depicts Dr. Grant and two children (not featured in this film) attempting a perilous raft journey through a lagoon, narrowly avoiding a slumbering Tyrannosaurus rex.
