This season introduces a roster of new cards inspired by Marvel's Dark Reign storyline, following the Civil War arc. Norman Osborn, having seized control of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s remnants (renamed H.A.M.M.E.R.), assembles a sinister Avengers team.
Expect to add these nefarious characters to your deck: Iron Patriot (Norman Osborn), Victoria Hand (January 7th), Bullseye (January 21st), Moonstone (January 14th), and Ares (January 28th). A new location, the besieged Asgard, adds another layer of strategic depth.
A villainous twist
This season offers a thrilling return for some lesser-known Marvel characters, expanding gameplay options. Victoria Hand boosts the power of cards in your hand, while Norman Osborn summons a random high-cost card, potentially reducing its cost if you're winning the next turn.
