Fortnite players eagerly awaited Cyberpunk 2077 items, and the eventual crossover was met with excitement. However, the absence of the male version of protagonist V caused some disappointment. Speculation ran rampant, but the reason is surprisingly straightforward.

Cyberpunk 2077 loremaster Patrick Mills made the final call. He cites two reasons: the bundle was limited to two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left only one slot, and with Johnny being male, the female V was chosen, partly due to personal preference.
