Unlocking Master Schindel's Toys in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

This guide helps you complete the challenging "Master Schindel's Toys" side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This quest becomes available during the main story mission, "Into the Underworld."

The quest begins by finding Goatskin, an informant. Talking to the Bathhouse Madam and then Adam at the bathhouse will lead you to Goatskin.

Locating Goatskin requires a bit of detective work. Follow Udo, a bathhouse patron who leaves in the evening. Goatskin will attempt to rob Udo in a nearby alley, providing an opportunity to confront him.

Interrogating Goatskin may yield a map ("Map of Kuttenberg Underground"). If persuasion fails, bribery works. The map indicates the location of the stolen items at the Kuttenberg gallows.

Navigating the Kuttenberg Underground

The quickest route to the stolen items bypasses much of the underground maze. Find the ladder leading down into the underground area on the northern side of the open area near the gallows. Take your torch!

Once underground, consistently turn left at every junction. You'll encounter a drop-down section; continue turning left until you reach a barrel at a dead end. This barrel contains the stolen book and astrolabe.

Returning the Items and Completing the Quest

Retrace your steps to the surface. Find Master Schindel (usually in the northeastern part of the city during the day). Return the items to complete the quest, earning reputation and rewards. He'll also share some interesting information about the astrolabe.
