Get ready, Clash of Clans fans, because the March 2025 update is set to revolutionize your gaming experience! Supercell is listening to what players have been clamoring for and is bringing one of the biggest changes the game has ever seen, with several features set to be removed soon.
No Troop, Spell, or Siege Machine Training Time!
Imagine being able to jump from one battle to the next without any waiting. That's exactly what the new update brings—no more training times for troops, spells, or siege machines! This means you can dive into back-to-back battles, making the game feel more dynamic and fast-paced than ever before. Hero recovery time is also a thing of the past, ensuring your heroes are always ready to fight. This change is available for players in Titan League and below, though Legend League will still maintain its eight-battle daily limit for now.
This monumental shift reflects a broader trend at Supercell to eliminate outdated mechanics. Remember when training costs were removed in 2022? Now, by completely doing away with training times, Supercell is empowering players to enjoy the game without artificial barriers.
As part of these changes, Training Potions and Training Treats are becoming obsolete and will be phased out. They will no longer appear in in-app purchase bundles, and any remaining in player inventories will be converted into Gems.
There’s a New Match Anytime System!
Ever run out of real bases to attack? The new Match Anytime system is here to solve that problem. When there aren't enough active player bases, you can now attack snapshot bases—saved versions of real player bases that are currently under Shield. These battles work just like normal ones, allowing you to earn loot and trophies, but the defender won't lose anything. This system, already used in Clan Wars and Legend League, is expanding to multiplayer battles.
With more battles per session, adjustments to Trophy Curves are necessary. You'll earn fewer trophies from victories. Additionally, Clan Castle request timers are being standardized to 10 minutes for all players, ensuring a smoother gameplay experience.
