After numerous delays, Cassette Beasts, developed by Bytten Studio and published by Raw Fury, has finally launched globally on Android. This follows its initial PC release two years ago. Become the Monster: Gameplay Overview
The game begins with you stranded on the bizarre island of New Wirral, a place that seems out of time and space. Monsters roam freely, people transform into creatures to fight them, and cassette tapes are the lifeblood of the island.
Your objective? Survive and find a way home. This involves using your cassette player to record and then play back monsters, transforming yourself into them.
Forge relationships with the inhabitants of Harbourtown to fuse monster forms with your partner, creating powerful and unique hybrid creatures. With countless possible combinations, the strategic possibilities are endless.
A World of Adventure Awaits
New Wirral is a vast and varied landscape, packed with dungeons, puzzles, and hidden areas accessible only with specific monster abilities. Expect to glide, swim, climb, and even utilize magnetic powers to overcome obstacles.
Combat is turn-based and features a complex elemental system. Master elemental combinations to outmaneuver enemies, enhance your team, and even alter opponent elemental types during battles.
The game supports Bluetooth controllers, although some minor compatibility issues may arise. Best of all, it's free to play! Download it now from the Google Play Store.
