Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Simplifies Camo Challenge Tracking
Season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 introduces Camo Challenge Tracking, a significant quality-of-life improvement streamlining camo and calling card progression. This feature allows players to effortlessly monitor their progress towards coveted rewards like Dark Matter and Nebula camos.
The new system lets players manually select up to 10 camo and 10 calling card challenges for active tracking. Progress is readily accessible in-game, eliminating the need to constantly check the main menu. The tracker also proactively alerts players about nearing completion of challenges, even those not actively tracked.
Tracking Challenges:
To track a challenge, navigate to the desired camo or calling card challenge and press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation) to add it to the tracker. This allows for real-time progress monitoring during matches.
Beyond manually tracked challenges, the game automatically highlights challenges nearing completion. This information is conveniently accessible in-game and also displayed in the Daily Challenge section of the Black Ops 6 lobby.
Improved Camo Unlocking:
Season 2 also simplifies special camo unlocking. Previously requiring nine preceding military camos, now only five are needed. However, two special camos remain a prerequisite for mastery camos.
This update directly addresses player feedback concerning the sheer number of camos and the difficulty of tracking progress. Treyarch's responsiveness improves the overall Black Ops 6 experience.
