This quest begins in Osaka, Izumi Settsu. You'll encounter a woman discussing a game involving origami butterflies. These large paper butterflies, pinned to trees near real butterflies, are scattered around the city. Collecting them reveals a darker truth: the Butterfly Collector is a sinister group of women kidnapping children from wealthy families.
Your mission: bring these criminals to justice. Five members comprise this faction.
Locating the Butterfly Collector Members in Assassin's Creed Shadows
Similar to other objective boards in *Assassin's Creed Shadows*, you'll use geographical clues to find your targets. This guide provides their exact locations.
Shucho
Shucho's carelessness leads you to her. She's lost a kidnapped child in Osaka's Fishermen's District. Find her in the intersection, dressed in green. Subdue her and rescue the child hiding behind nearby horses.
Mucho
Travel northwest across the bridge from Shucho's location, towards the Kojo ruins. Mucho, posing as a family jochu, is struggling with her victim south of the ruins. The child's resistance will give you an opening. Defeat Mucho and return the child to her mother.
Richo
Rumors of a suspicious woman near a bamboo grove in Noda Village (north Osaka) lead you to Richo. Find her in the grove, dressed in pink. Neutralize her and rescue the child.
Kacho
Defeating the previous three members reveals Kacho, the leader. Find her north of Nishinomaru Garden, west of Osaka Castle (a restricted zone). Many butterflies mark her location. Engage her in a final confrontation.
Gamemaker
Return to the Gamemaker's initial location. She's a former victim who created the game hoping someone would uncover the truth. Decide whether to punish her or offer a new beginning. Your choice concludes the Butterfly Collector storyline, rewarding you with 5,500 XP.
