BioWare has seemingly abandoned plans for Dragon Age: The Veilguard downloadable content (DLC). However, creative director John Epler hinted at the possibility of a Dragon Age remastered collection.
BioWare Officially Shelves Dragon Age: The Veilguard DLC
Dragon Age Remastered Collection Remains a Possibility
According to Rolling Stone, BioWare has confirmed it won't be developing any DLC for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, stating the game is "complete." With the Veilguard's release, BioWare's focus has shifted to the next Mass Effect title.
While specifics regarding potential Veilguard DLC remain undisclosed, Epler addressed fan interest in a remastered Dragon Age collection, similar to the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. He acknowledged the significant challenge of remastering the original Dragon Age trilogy due to their reliance on EA's proprietary game engines. Despite this hurdle, Epler expressed enthusiasm for the idea, stating, "It’s something that’s not going to be as easy as Mass Effect, but we do love the original games. Never say never."
