BG3 New Dark Urge Ending in Patch 7 Teased

Baldur's Gate 3's upcoming Patch 7 introduces terrifying new evil endings, offering players a chilling glimpse into the game's darker potential.

A New Evil Ending: A Father's Legacy

Larian Studios recently unveiled a 52-second cinematic teaser on X (formerly Twitter), showcasing one such ending focused on the Dark Urge. The preview depicts the grim consequences of a completely evil playthrough, hinting at a reign of terror under Bhaal.

Spoiler Alert!

The Dark Urge's companions witness their leader succumb to Bhaal's influence, seizing control of the Netherbrain. The Dark Urge then uses mind control to force their companions to their deaths. A chilling narration accompanies the scene: "Time for the final act. Your tragedy has become mankind's." The Dark Urge ultimately suffers a similar fate.

This is just one of several new evil endings promised in Larian's April community update, which pledged "improved evil endings...for even darker conclusions." These endings aren't exclusive to Dark Urge playthroughs. Previously teased endings include the Dark Urge amidst a sea of blood and corpses, and a town overtaken by "sheer mindless bliss" orchestrated by The True Absolute.
