Battlecruisers Marks 4th Anniversary with Trans Edition Update

Battlecruisers is marking its fourth anniversary with a bang, as the developers at Mecha Weka unveil their most substantial update yet, the 'Trans Edition.' This update enriches the game with a plethora of new single-player and multiplayer content, ensuring that players have more reasons to dive back into the action.

What’s in Store in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?

The 'Trans Edition' introduces three new Cruisers: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith, which are set to shake up the battlefield dynamics. Additionally, the update brings two new Buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, and two new Units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter, expanding strategic options for players.

Existing Cruisers are not left behind, as they receive exciting new customization options with three fresh Bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler, allowing players to personalize their fleets like never before.

In Skirmishes, players can now select from Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime, adding variety to the combat scenarios. PvP matches have been enhanced with a new countdown start and aircraft trails that now match player colors, making for a more immersive experience.

Balancing changes are widespread in this update. Notable buffs include the Raptor’s shield build and recharge rate, which has been increased from 3x to 5x, and the Hammerhead’s health, which now stands at 4200, up from 4000. The ShipTurret’s damage has been boosted from 40 to 60, though its range has been reduced from 19 to 16, requiring players to adapt their strategies accordingly.

Visually, Battlecruisers 6.4 introduces underwater transparency, allowing players to revel in the wreckage of their defeated foes. The sea now features enhanced shading, and the visual effects of Cruiser and Ship deaths have been improved for a more dramatic finish.

Played the Game Yet?

Since its debut in 2021, Battlecruisers has consistently delivered major updates annually. The 'Trans Edition' continues this tradition by introducing more SideQuests and a mysterious Battlefortress hidden in the South Pacific, adding layers of intrigue and adventure to the game.

Set in a Flooded Earth in the year 2732, the game's world is populated solely by robots engaged in construction and wage warfare. Players take command of their own Battlecruiser, equipping it with turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons to navigate a treacherous landscape filled with formidable enemies.

If you haven't yet experienced the thrill of Battlecruisers, now is the perfect time to dive in. You can find the game on the Google Play Store. And while you're at it, don't miss our coverage on This Year’s Days of Bloom, which is bringing The Little Prince back to Sky: Children of the Light.
