New Assassin's Creed Shadows Trailer Showcases PC Version Features

Ubisoft's new Assassin's Creed Shadows trailer showcases enhanced PC features. The trailer highlights support for upscaling technologies like DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 2, along with ultra-wide monitor compatibility, RTGI, RT Reflections, and extensive customization options for lower-end PCs. A built-in benchmark tool is included for performance testing.

Minimum specifications for 1080p/30FPS gameplay include an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, and an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8GB) GPU. High-end requirements for 4K/60FPS at ultra settings with advanced ray tracing demand an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor and an RTX 4090 (24GB) graphics card.

Intel's partnership with Ubisoft ensures optimized performance on their processors. Post-launch AMD performance analysis will follow. The developers aim to address past stuttering issues, building on the performance improvements seen in Mirage compared to previous series entries like Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla.

Assassin's Creed Shadows launches March 20th on PC and consoles.
