Expanded Gameplay and Character Roster
As reported by Niche Gamer on December 25, 2024, the mid-January beta test will feature a greatly expanded roster of 15 playable characters, including two Endministrators. These characters will boast "new models, animations, and special effects." Players can also select from Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and English voiceovers and text.
Registration opened December 14, 2024. Gameplay improvements based on player feedback include refined combat mechanics, a new dodge system, and enhanced combo skills. Item usage and character progression have also been adjusted for a more immersive experience.
The base-building system receives a substantial overhaul with new mechanics and tutorial levels. Expect new defensive structures and the ability to construct and expand factories via outposts. The beta also includes a revised storyline, fresh maps, and engaging puzzles.
While registration is currently open, the application deadline and beta test start date remain unannounced. Selected participants will receive an email notification from GRYPHLINE, including installation instructions.
Arknights: Endfield Content Creator Program Vol. 1
Launched concurrently with the beta test announcement on December 14, 2024, the Arknights: Endfield Content Creator Program Vol. 1 is now accepting applications. Selected creators gain access to the official community, exclusive perks, and special events.
The program has two content categories: gameplay insights (reviews, lore discussions, livestreams, etc.) and fan creations (memes, fanart, cosplays, etc.). Both categories share the same requirements: original content, proof of ownership, and links to previous work.
Remember, meeting the requirements doesn't guarantee acceptance. The application period runs from December 15, 2024, to December 29, 2024.
