Author : Zachary Apr 06,2025

Sony has unveiled an exciting trio of PlayStation Plus Essential titles for April 2025: RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5), The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PS4, PS5), and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (PS4). These games were announced in a PlayStation.Blog post and will be available to subscribers at no extra cost starting April 1, until the next set of games arrives on May 5.

Which April 2025 PlayStation Plus game will you play first?

  • RoboCop: Rogue City
  • The Texas Chain Saw Massacre
  • Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory

PlayStation Plus users will find something to suit various tastes in this lineup. RoboCop: Rogue City, developed by Teyon and Nacon, captures the essence of the '80s classic in a first-person shooter where players take on the role of Alex Murphy to combat crime in Detroit. A significant update in January of the previous year added a New Game Plus mode, enhancing the game's replay value. Our review at launch awarded it a commendable 7/10.

For those craving intense multiplayer action, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre from Sumo Digital and Gun Media offers a chilling asymmetrical experience. Players can either fight to survive or embrace the role of the Slaughter Family, including the infamous Leatherface. Despite some technical challenges, our 6/10 review highlighted a few entertaining hours of gameplay.

To balance the adrenaline rush, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory by Bandai Namco provides a more relaxed pace with its turn-based monster collecting gameplay. Released in 2018, it features over 320 Digimon and offers a fresh perspective on the original Cyber Sleuth story.

As these titles become available next week, subscribers should not forget to download the March 2025 titles before they expire on March 31. This lineup included Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, offering another strong set of games for PlayStation Plus members.
