In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, romancing NPCs, like Klara, adds a layer of intrigue to the gameplay. However, some romantic encounters require cleverness. Here's how to successfully navigate Klara's riddle during the "Back in the Saddle" quest, triggered shortly after "For Whom the Bell Tolls."
This romantic subplot unfolds after rescuing Hans. You'll need to gather Marigold, Sage, and Poppy for Klara. These herbs are readily available nearby; those already in your inventory will suffice.
After delivering the herbs, avoid expressing suspicion about Nebakov Fortress; this will prematurely end the interaction. Instead, continue the conversation until Klara presents her riddle: “I bloom in silence, a petal’s grace. A delicate charm in a hidden place. A whispered scent, a subtle ploy. What am I, elusive and coy?”
The correct answer is, surprisingly, “I think she’s called Klara.” This seemingly simple response charms Klara, initiating your first romantic encounter. A further romantic interaction is possible later in the "Finger of God" quest.
This strategy unlocks a romantic relationship with Klara. For more Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 guidance, including tips on romancing Katherine and optimal perk selection, consult The Escapist.
