Aether Gazer's latest update, "Echoes on the Way Back," introduces significant gameplay enhancements and story developments. Available until January 6th, the update includes Chapter 19 Part II of the main storyline, accompanied by the side story "The Ibis and the Moon – Moonwatcher," hinting at pivotal plot developments.
The centerpiece of this update is the introduction of Verthandi, a new S-Grade Modifier. This light-attribute melee Modifier boasts three distinct combat styles: a defensive counterattack style, a high-damage burst style, and a sustained DPS style, offering players diverse tactical options. Verthandi's compelling backstory, revealed through hyperspace experiments, adds depth to her character.
The update also features exciting new Ultimate Skillchain Mechanics. Players can now utilize powerful combos like "Light the Path: Phantasmal Dawn" (Hera & Verthandi) and "Thunder in the Hills: Roaring Thunder" (Thor & Shu). A new Sigil, "Cycle of Time," provides ATK boosts, Mod Index Multiplier increases, and Crit DMG buffs under specific conditions. The 5-star Functor, Elf – Geironul, further enhances Verthandi's damage output.
