As we step into 2025, it's clear that Farlight is not slowing down, with their latest project, Ace Trainer, currently in soft-launch in regions like South Korea and the US.
So, what exactly is Ace Trainer? At its core, it's a game that fans of Pokémon will instantly recognize, where you collect, train, and level up fantastical creatures to battle on your behalf. However, Farlight has injected a fresh twist reminiscent of Palworld, transforming the gameplay into a thrilling mix of tower defense and action. Instead of traditional turn-based battles, you'll find yourself deploying your creatures to fend off waves of zombies.
But that's not all—Ace Trainer also incorporates pinball mechanics, allowing you to shoot and collect resources. This unique blend of genres, including PvP, PvE, tower defense, and pinball, makes for an intriguing proposition.
