Story
Your adventure starts in a serene forest near the village of Riders. Alongside your childhood friends, Lilia and Cheval, you stumble upon a mysterious, shimmering egg. In a moment of playful curiosity, you mimic the sacred Rite of Kinship—and to your astonishment, it works! The egg hatches into a baby Rathalos, the mighty "King of the Skies." You name him Ratha and bring him back to your village.
Tragedy strikes soon after when a monster, infected by the sinister "Black Blight," attacks your village. Although you manage to repel the beast, the damage is done, leaving both your village and your friends, Cheval and Lilia, deeply scarred.
As a year goes by, you are officially inducted as a Rider by receiving a Kinship Stone from the Village Chief. With Cheval and Lilia having ventured off on their individual paths, you team up with the ever-optimistic Navirou and set off on a new quest into the expansive world of hunters.
