Hibou utilizes GPS technology and integrated timers, allowing you to pursue your passions without worry. Whether you're hiking, skiing, or traveling abroad, Hibou provides reliable support. Simply activate the activity timer in the app, set the duration (up to 24 hours), and enjoy your activity. Upon safe return, simply end the timer. Need more time? Easily extend the timer with a single tap.
Should you encounter distress and are unable to seek help independently, Hibou activates an emergency response. If your timer expires, pre-selected contacts receive immediate notifications, including your last known location, facilitating prompt assistance.
Hibou also features an automated daily wellness check, offering peace of mind to your loved ones. You'll report your status once or twice daily at scheduled times via the app, website, or phone system. Missed reports trigger reminders via app notification, email, and/or phone call, providing a grace period before your contacts are notified.
A dedicated help button instantly sends a notification and GPS location to your contact list. While 9-1-1 remains crucial in emergencies, this feature offers a convenient way to alert family and friends when you need assistance.
