About Hazari:
Hazari is a four-player card game played with a standard 52-card deck. Each player is dealt 13 cards, which they arrange in descending order. Once arranged, players signal they are ready by calling "up." The player to the right of the dealer starts by playing three cards. The highest-value card wins the round, and the winner continues to play the next set of cards.
Scoring System:
- Cards from Ace (A) to 10 are worth 10 points each.
- Cards from 9 to 2 are worth 5 points each.
- The objective is to accumulate 1000 points across multiple games to win.
Gameplay Mechanics:
- Troy: Three of a kind, ranked from highest to lowest (e.g., AAA to 222).
- Color Run: Three consecutive cards of the same suit (e.g., AKQ of Spades).
- Run: Three consecutive cards of any suit (e.g., AKQ of mixed suits).
- Color: Any three cards of the same suit, with the highest card determining the winner.
- Pair: Two cards of the same rank with a third card (e.g., 443).
- Indi/Individuals: Any three cards that do not form a recognized combination, with the highest card determining the winner.
How to Play:
Players arrange their 13 cards into four groups: three sets of three cards and one set of four cards. The game progresses with players throwing their cards in rounds of three, followed by the final round of four cards. The winner of each round takes all the cards played and continues to lead the next round until all cards are played. The player who first reaches 1000 points wins the game.
