The centerpiece of SS7 is the "Wheel of Destiny," a cosmic roulette wheel using tarot cards to dynamically alter the Netherrealm. Each card drawn—from the Sun's scorching energy to the Hermit's stealthy assassins and the Chariot's reflex-testing challenges—transforms gameplay. Successfully navigating these trials unlocks the Tarot Secret Path.
A revamped Destiny system enhances Pactspirits. Players can now equip Fates (providing straightforward stat boosts) and Kismets (introducing unique, powerful mechanics), including potent Dual Kismets, onto talent nodes.

A new hero joins the fray: Iris, the Vigilant Breeze. This Spirit Magi master offers diverse playstyles, allowing players to unleash devastating elemental attacks or focus on near-immortality through life-restoring magic.
Two additional Spirit Magi bolster the ranks: the physically devastating Rock Magus and the explosive Erosion Magus. The powerful Evil Heart Armor is also a new piece of equipment to acquire.
