Want to avoid walking straight into a rainstorm? Check our rain radar and rain graph before you step out, ensuring you stay dry and comfortable!
The Buienradar app kicks off with a choice between a 3-hour or a 24-hour rain radar forecast. The radar image gives you a clear picture of whether rain is on its way in the upcoming hours or the next day. Just below the radar, you'll find the rain graph, which provides a detailed breakdown of when it will rain and the expected rainfall in millimeters. For a closer look at your specific area, simply tap the magnifying glass icon to zoom in.
Available for Android phones and tablets, the Buienradar app features a convenient widget that includes the rain graph, allowing you to check for rain without even opening the app!
Exciting news: the Buienradar Wear OS app is back! You can now view the rain radar, rain graph, and the forecast for the upcoming hour right from your wrist. Expect more features to be added in the coming months. Please note, the Buienradar Watch App is exclusively available on the Google Play Store and supports only devices running Android Wear OS.

Get personalized weather information in the "Komende uren in" table (Next 8 hours weather prediction) for your favorite locations, even abroad. This includes hour-by-hour predictions for temperature, feeling temperature, rainfall per hour in millimeters, the chance of rain, and wind force in Beaufort.
Alongside maps for thunderstorms, snow, sun, wind, and temperature, we offer data on wind chill, ground temperature, sun intensity, air pressure, gusts, visibility, and humidity, as well as the exact times of sunrise and sunset for your location.
Seasonal radar maps are also available. In summer, use our pollen and mosquito radars to get timely notifications for setting up your mosquito nets. During winter, our snow radar keeps you updated on winter precipitation, and our ground temperature map alerts you to night frost.
Navigate to the "14-daagse" tab for a 14-day weather forecast in graph form. For a more detailed view, click on the "Lijst" tab to access an hourly forecast for the next 7 days and a daily average for the second week.
Set up your custom rain alert in the "Meldingen" tab with free push notifications tailored to your daily schedule and favorite locations, ensuring you're always prepared for rain or storms.
For an ad-free experience, consider upgrading to Buienradar Premium for €4,99. You can easily find this option in "Instellingen" (Settings) and then select "Neem Buienradar Premium" (Get Buienradar Premium).
