This web-based tool utilizes meteorological forecasts primarily derived from the NOAA/NCEP Global Forecast System (GFS) numerical weather model. Originating in July 2005 as a project supported by the National Astronomical Observatories of China, 7Timer! underwent significant upgrades in 2008 and 2011. Currently, it's supported by the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
